Founder & CIO

Prior to Sound Money, Rob was the head of asset allocation for South Africa’s largest pension fund between 2016 and 2021, an institution with $25bn AUM.

A trained economist and CFA charter holder, Rob believes that the most important knowledge is not necessarily learnt in the classroom.

 

JESSE BLACK

Head of Operations

Jesse is an Electrical and Systems Engineer who worked in the US Department of Defense for over 12 years. During this time, he managed multiple projects that were valued over $10mn. Jesse has a wealth of experience in program management, operations, and regulation. In the last 3 years Jesse has become an expert in the technical aspects of blockchain projects.
